Bees & Trees to Begin Hosting Weddings & Special Events

If you are looking for that special place for your wedding or event in 2024, you should consider "The Gazebo" at Bees & Trees Farm located in Elkwood, VA--just a stone's throw from historic Culpeper.
The farm's owners, Teresa & Jeff Gregson, will be hosting small events and micro weddings beginning the spring of 2024.
"The questions we're being asked most often have to do with price, availability and how we are going to define small events and micro weddings! said Teresa. "I can tell you that we are researching all those details that we know will impact the overall price of our events but, it is our plan to offer affordable weddings and events. "
The desire to keep events small in size comes from wanting to make sure that guests have an opportunity to really enjoy the country and feel the peace and joy that comes from being able to live in such a special place so, the number of guests for events at Bees & Trees will be capped at eighty.
The desire to keep our events affordable comes from the belief that every bride deserves a lovely wedding and the price tag for that wedding shouldn't have to start at $5000. Our base price for the use of the farm's event areas in 2024 will run $250 an hour excluding setup. That will include The Gazebo--which boasts a lovely view of the Blue Ridge Mountains--for the ceremony and an adjacent area for a reception--easily capable of holding a 40' x 50' tent--which is large enough to seat 80, have a DJ and dance floor, a sweetheart table, a buffet, waiter stations and a gift table!
"Weddings are a special time in a couple's life and we want to make sure we provide an intimate wedding venue that gives a couple those special moments they will cherish for the rest of their lives," said Teresa. "There's nothing wrong with large weddings, we just believe we can give our brides extraordinary customer service if we focus on smaller ones."
Wedding and event packages booked at the farm will include a one-night stay in the farm's Airbnb, The Garden View Suite, for an additional $150. This space will give brides a private place to dress and relax. A preferred vendor list identifying recommended florists, caterers, bands, videographers, and photographers is currently being developed.
"If you want to deliver an extraordinary experience, then you need to make sure your vendors have that same goal," said Teresa. "We have several excellent vendors we've worked with before, and are working to expand that list in the event some of our vendors are booked elsewhere on a weekend they are needed here."
