Nestled on 43 picturesque acres in Elkwood, Virginia, Bees & Trees Farm has long welcomed visitors to our Farm Store and Airbnb.

Now, owners Teresa and Jeff Gregson are delighted to open the farm for intimate weddings, vow renewals, family reunions, celebrations and other special gatherings.

At the heart of our our intimate wedding venue is The Gazebo, created especially for couples and families who prefer something smaller, more personal and more affordable than a traditional large event venue. Designed for gatherings of approximately 50 guests, it offers a relaxed country setting where the people—and the occasion—take center stage.

The Gazebo
Perched on a gentle knoll overlooking the pastoral countryside and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, The Gazebo provides a peaceful and romantic backdrop for your ceremony or special gathering.

Just steps away, a spacious 40' x 60' grassy reception area provides plenty of room for dinner seating for up to 50 guests, along with a buffet, dance floor, DJ, cake and gift tables. The reception area is hardwired for electrical service, and a tents may be rented if desired.

Whether you're envisioning a charming farm wedding, an anniversary celebration, a vow renewal or simply a wonderful gathering of family and friends, Bees & Trees Farm offers a setting that feels beautiful, welcoming and wonderfully uncomplicated.

The Garden View Suite

One of the special advantages of hosting your wedding at Bees & Trees Farm is the availability of The Garden View Suite, our 5-star Airbnb located about 50 yards from The Gazebo.

The suite gives you a comfortable, private place to dress, prepare and relax before your celebration—and includes overnight accommodations for both the night before and the night of your event.

Guests of the suite can also enjoy a beautifully renovated in-ground swimming pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day), a brand new hot tub, outdoor fireplace and private garden-gate entrance with fountain.

Together, the Gazebo and Garden View Suite offer something increasingly hard to find: a beautiful, intimate place to celebrate without the expense and formality of a large wedding venue.

The Gazebo Event Package — Starting at $2,000
This package includes:

Exclusive use of The Gazebo and beautifully manicured grassy reception area
50 white ceremony chairs, including setup and take-down
Two-night stay in The Garden View Suite — the night before and the night of your wedding
Private event setting — The Farm Store and farm grounds will close to the public two hours before your event, allowing time to prepare the property exclusively for you and your guests

Wedding Trends in 2026

--The average Virginia wedding now costs about $34,000. Nationally, the average is $34,200, according to The Knot's 2026 Real Weddings Study.

--Budgeting is couples' No. 1 planning challenge. More than 85% said the economy affected their wedding planning and decisions, and nearly 55% changed some part of their original vision, including flowers and décor.

--41% of couples went over their wedding budget. Only 34% stayed on budget, while 4% actually came in under it.

--Guest lists are getting attention as couples manage costs. The Knot found that 40% of couples who were affected by rising costs reduced their guest count.
