Bees & Trees Farm is nestled on a 43-acre farm in Elkwood, VA. Best known for it's Farm Store and Airbnb, owners Teresa & Jeff Gregson are now hosting weddings, vow renewals, family reunions and other gatherings . Their event space, The Gazebo, was designed to appeal to those looking to host small functions of approximately 50 guests. Their goal? To offer intimate events at an affordable price in a lovely, peaceful, country setting.
Poised on a knoll with a pastoral view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Gazabo, offers a beautiful and quiet place for your special gathering. The adjacent, grassy-reception area (40' x 60') is able to accommodate everything you need--tables and chairs for a dinner seating fifty, a buffet table, a dance floor, DJ, as well as cake and gift tables! This area is hardwired for electric service and tents may be rented if desired. It is the perfect place to host your farmhouse-style, outdoor gathering! Coming in 2025, Son of a Bear Ciders will be building a tasting room near the Gazebo and reception which will be available for rent to guests wishing to use this facility. Equipped with several bathrooms, a bar and seating area, this area is a lovely addition to any gathering.
The farm also offers guests the use of their The Garden View Suite, an Airbnb located about fifty yards from "The Gazebo". This suite provides guests a private place to dress and relax pre-event as well as an overnight bedroom after the event. Complete with a beautifully renovated, in-ground pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace and its own private-garden-gate entrance with fountain, the Garden View Suite offers luxury accommodations and has maintained a 5-Star rating by Airbnb for ten straight quarters. It was also recently designated a "Guest Favorite."
Base Package for an event starts at $1,500 and includes:
- Use of the Gazebo and grassy reception area
- 50 white chairs--including set up and take down
- Two-night stay in The Garden View Suite (before and after the scheduled event)
- One "porta potty"
Separate but available options include:
- Use of the Son of A Bear tasting $1500 for three hours and includes:
- Use of tables and chairs in the facility
- Three bathrooms
- One bartender
- All clean up
- Plus 10% discount on wine and beer purchased through the tasting room for the event.
- Additional hours may be purchased at $300/hour
- Tents--two sizes are available for rent:
- 10' x'20' is $100 (includes set up and take down)
- 20' x 32' is $400 (includes set up and take down)
